National Association of Professional Women Inducts Christy DeLuca Hopkins U.S. Marine Corps., Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for her leadership in military services. Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed, Christy DeLuca Hopkins is a practiced professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.
Ms. Hopkins’ professional title is Command Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Coordinator for the U.S. Marine Corps’ II Marine Expeditionary Force and Reserve Force Support Officer for the U.S. Air Force’s Headquarters Air Mobility Command. In early 2016, she was approved by the Department of Defense Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program Review Committee for Certification as a Nationally Recognized Professional working on behalf of victims of sexual assault. She also has completed Hospital Sexual Assault Victim Advocate training for the Onslow County Women’s Center.
The highlight of Ms. Hopkins’ military career occurred when the Commander of Special Operations Command Central awarded her a Bronze Star for her significant leadership impact and for taking care of thousands of people who serving in the US military overseas.
A single mother of two boys, Ms. Hopkins is justifiably proud of all her achievements. She has obtained two Master’s degrees from Webster University in Human Resource Development and Leadership/Management. She is passionate about victim advocacy, volunteering, fitness and possible graduate level opportunities.
