The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Debbie Dixon as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in administration. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

“I’m pleased to recognize Debbie with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”

Always an active member of her church, Rouse’s Abundant Life Ministries, Ms. Dixon has been providing expert administrative assistance to Bishop Jones, the leaders and members since 2002. A few years ago, she took the initiative to put policies into place that would help educate and empower church secretaries.

“I planned the first appreciation luncheon, which was held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at a local catering restaurant. At the luncheon, two attendees asked if they could help plan the next one. From there, a committee was formed,” said Ms. Dixon.

Attendance at the ministry’s three annual summits has steadily grown and Ms. Dixon’s passion for her church continues to inspire those around her. As Founder / President of Hidden Treasurers Ministry, she brings her organizational, leadership and administrative skills as she oversees the annual summits and education classes, provides support to the pastor and church, ministers to those in need and assists the secretaries with supporting their pastors and churches.

As she looks toward the future, Ms. Dixon’s goals encompass both personal and professional milestones. “I plan to earn my B.A. degree in Human Resources Management and continue to encourage and empower church secretaries across the nation and world.”
