Amy Ables is an accomplished, results-driven professional with a successful background in the education field. She has previously taught at Texas Woman’s University, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and the University of Texas at Arlington.
In January 2007, Dr. Ables became Senior Manager – Medical Education at Tornier, a global medical device company specializing in the orthopedic industry. After consistently assuming roles of greater responsibility throughout her tenure, she became Vice President, US Training & Education at the company in September 2014.
Since taking on her position, Dr. Ables has used her comprehensive skill set to develop, implement and drive successful strategies for creating the most clinically proficient sales forces in orthopedics.
Dr. Ables received her Ph.D. in Biomechanics from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX. She keeps pace with the exciting changes occurring in her profession through her affiliations with the Association for Talent Development and ACSM.
Beyond her remarkable professional pursuits, Dr. Ables is passionate about making a difference, inspiring others to maximize their potential and supporting charities such as the Human Rights Campaign and animal organizations.
