Following her successes as Patient Care Coordinator / Reception at Fairview Health Services and Allina Heath, she became an Associate Provider Installation Specialist at Optum, a leading health services and innovation company.
In her role, Ms. Halford contacts the company’s DC and CAM network providers to verify that their practice information is current and valid for proper billing and patient treatment. She is also responsible for making demographic corrections and updates, adding new providers to the system for bill processing and investigating for claims resolution processing.
Ms. Halford received her graduate certification in Human Resources Management and Personnel Administration from the University of Phoenix. She is a devoted supporter of several charitable organizations, including the ASPCA. Ms. Halford’s current position within Optum fully demonstrates her fearless pursuit of professional and personal fulfillment and solidifies her as a role model and inspiration to the membership of NAPW.
