Leonie Alexandre, M.B.A., selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Leonie Alexandre as a 2016-2017 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in accounting and finance. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed, Leonie Alexandre is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.

Ms. Alexandre’s professional title is Director of Finance at the African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP). AAMP is the first institution built by a major United States city to house and interpret the life and work of African Americans.

With over 12 years of experience in public accounting for nonprofit, financial services and manufacturing agencies, her skills and areas of expertise include accounting, nonprofit organizations, auditing and financial services. She is responsible for the management and oversight of budgetary planning, financial management systems, internal controls and reports, external reporting and directs all financial audits. Ms. Alexandre has an M.B.A. from St. Joseph's University.

The unwavering dedication demonstrated by Ms. Alexandre fully utilizes the aspirations for success that have earned her this recognition from the National Association of Professional Women, honoring her as an inspiration and a leader in her
industry.
