Garden City, NY (PRWEB) January 19, 2016 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Wendi Hatton as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters
“I’m pleased to welcome Wendi into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her service to our country is inspiring and invaluable.”
A talented clarinetist, Wendi Hatton retired in 1996 from the U.S. Navy Band in Washington, D.C., and continued to focus on music as a private clarinet instructor and member of the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra (VA). Some years later, in addition to teaching and performing, Ms. Hatton pursued a second career path.
“In 2011, after years of focusing on music, I began a life-changing journey of optimizing my health through coaching,” she said. “This experience helped me discover the huge impact the coaching industry can have in the world, which led me to launch Wendi Hatton Coaching in 2012.”
Today, Ms. Hatton uses the skills she honed as a professional musician in her coaching business, where she empowers individuals “to live their very best lives while sustaining a thriving business or career and enjoying a prosperous lifestyle for themselves and their loved ones.” In addition to her work as a coach supporting “heart-centered entrepreneurs,” Ms. Hatton continues to share her musical talents with students and audiences alike.
Rewarded when clients and students accomplish their personal or professional goals, Ms. Hatton plans to develop a global coaching company of “heart-centered professionals” who specialize in life or business-transforming areas. “I also hope to establish the Life Harmony International Foundation, which will focus on providing aid to the less fortunate and building fine arts academic schools in the U.S. and Africa,” said Ms. Hatton.
NAPW’s mission is to provide an exclusive, highly advanced networking forum to successful women executives, professionals and entrepreneurs where they can aspire, connect and achieve. Through innovative resources, unique tools and progressive benefits, professional women interact, exchange ideas, advance their knowledge and empower each other.
