National Association of Professional Women Announces Erin L. Babik, Materials Engineer at Naval Surface Warfare Center, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Ms. Babik is being recognized for her leadership in distinguished military service with this prestigious distinction. Erin L. Babik's professional title is Materials Engineer at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Ships Systems Engineering Station, the Navy's center of excellence for ships and ship systems, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy's ships, submarines and military personnel.
An Engineering Specialist and Material Science Engineer, Ms. Babik's area of expertise includes lubrication. She has proudly provided ten years of distinguished civil service in the United States Navy.
Ms. Babik recently changed her position and title to Code Systems Engineer. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Babik is currently involved with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
