National Association of Professional Women Inducts Samantha Anne Inesta, Founder of Beasister2asister, into Its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 02, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Samantha Anne Inesta as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in nonprofit organizations. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I'm pleased to recognize Samantha with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
Samantha Inesta has been a women’s advocate since 2004, specifically in the international and domestic trafficking arena. Always drawn to, and passionate about the human rights of women around the world, Ms. Inesta is committed to achieving equal rights for all women.
Her career began at the National Organization for Women as a Traffic Coordinator, where she built a foundation of experience until her promotion to Chapter Coordinator for its NYC Chapter. Her new title required her to work extensively with the chapter president and law enforcement on domestic and international trafficking.
In 2012, Ms. Inesta became the Executive Director of Beasister2asister.org, a global nonprofit where she continues supporting women unable to help themselves. Her work is helping to strengthen the fight against sex trafficking both here and abroad. Ms. Inesta’s goal is “to see Beasister2asister become a place where women and girls can find the support, encouragement and love that may be lacking in their lives.”
