National Association of Professional Women Inducts Candice Carroll, Chief Nurse Executive at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for her leadership in nursing. As part of her job duties as Chief Nursing Officer, Mrs. Carroll is responsible for patient experience and clinical operations of a Level II trauma center. She leads the clinical team, which supports the patients and families receiving care and treatment within Riverside Services.
Prior to her employment at Riverside Health System, Mrs. Carroll worked as an executive for Healthfinch, for HCA, and also within a hospital emergency room immediately following completion of her nursing degree in 1996. She also became a Forensic Nurse Examiner and worked on criminal cases.
“I am a Registered Nurse by trade and a seasoned Nurse Executive,” Ms. Carroll said. “My heart is all about patient care and improving the lives and safety of all things surrounding patients.”
Ms. Carroll’s hard work resulted in multiple successes in her vast career leading clinical transformation efforts. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American Nurse Association and the International Association of Forensic Nurses.
