“I am an Army Major General (Two Star, Ret) and served as the 22nd Chief of the Army Nurse Corps and was the first woman, non-physician to serve as the Commander of the Army Medical Department and the Acting Surgeon General of the Army,” she said.
Gale S. Pollock, Major General (Ret), CRNA, FACHE, FAAN, is a proud Army Nurse. She is currently the CEO of Elevivo, Inc., which provides a one-stop information portal for anyone struggling with or concerned about vision loss. Her skills and areas of expertise include leadership, strategic planning and communication training.
Ms. Pollock has three Master’s degrees and is a continual learner. She is currently active with the American Academy of Nurses and the National Association of Corporate Directors. She has a passion for helping those with vision loss, therefore she supports charitable organizations such as Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind and the Overcome Vision Loss Foundation.
The unwavering dedication demonstrated by Ms. Pollock fully utilizes the aspirations for success that have earned her this recognition from the National Association of Professional Women, honoring her as an inspiration and a leader in her industry.
