National Association of Professional Women Announces Cara Scharf, Founder of Fearless Media, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Ms. Scharf is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in advertising and communications. Ms. Scharf first became fascinated by the world of advertising as a young girl, when she would visit the office of television producer Sandy Frank, a client of her father’s. She never forgot the excitement of the media world, and eventually pursued a career in advertising.
Today, Ms. Scharf boasts more than 25 years of advertising agency experience. In 2009, she made the "fearless" move to entrepreneurship when she founded Fearless Media, a New York City agency that creates innovative, integrated engagement advertising. As founder, Ms. Scharf is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the business, managing clients and driving her team to always be thinking strategically.
From conception through inception, Ms. Scharf skillfully handles every detail of each project, never hesitating to think outside of the box.
