“My background is human resources and organizational development,” says Ms. Labrecque. “I use these skills in day-to-day activities with clients of all types and backgrounds both in the business sectors (startups to small businesses are our focus) and residential/home arenas.”
Ms. Labrecque said her previous work in the business world provided a natural transition to establishing her business, Organizing Relief Co. Clients were always looking to get organized and Ms. Labrecque accommodated those requests by “streamlining, purging, re-organizing, creating paper systems, etc.” She also came to the rescue of many a friend and relative in need of organization. Keeping things simple is important to Ms. Labrecque, in every aspect of her personal and professional life, and it is a skill she is now able to use to help others who are trying to simplify their own lives.
Whether it’s organizing a business owner's paperwork or de-cluttering an individual’s home, Ms. Labrecque offers affordable services that are custom tailored to meet each client’s needs. She has a particular interest in working with startups and small businesses, adults and children with special needs, even the elderly and veterans, who often have overcome challenges. Ms. Labrecque believes one of her biggest challenges was her ability to persevere and become successful at a business she truly believes in. Her advice to other entrepreneurs is to ignore the naysayers. “…listen intently to your heart, soul and women’s intuition and go forward with your plan! Plan your work, work your plan!” she says.
