National Association of Professional Women Inducts Ellen Agee, Co-Owner of Agee's Pet Crematorium, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 19, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Ellen Agee as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“It gives me great pleasure to present Ellen with this important honor,” said Star Jones. “Together with her husband, she has created a valuable business enterprise for her community.”
Ellen Agee provides families with her extraordinary personalized care as she guides them through an emotional experience of losing a beloved pet. In 1997, Ms. Agee and her husband opened their own pet crematorium. While in high school, she met her husband whose family owned one of the first pet crematoriums in the nation. They had been in business since 1969. With a natural love for animals, she understood the importance and respect of a proper loving memorial for all pets.
Due to a family member’s sickness, Ms. Agee and her husband proceeded to open their own business, Agee’s Pet Crematorium. She has a Bachelor degree from Tulane University and an Associate degree from Delgado. Previously working in retail, grocery, law offices, real estate, education, and owning a proprietary school, Ms. Agee has developed strong communication skills that help her respect everyone’s needs and the love they had for their animals.
“To know I could help make someone’s life a little easier during a difficult time is both challenging and rewarding,” said Mrs. Agee.
Now that her son is grown, she would like to become more involved within her community again. Aside from volunteering and supporting pet care and education, she is also expanding her business this year. Along with her husband, they will be opening a new office building, as well as considering to expand into parts of Louisiana and / or Mississippi.
