National Association of Professional Women Inducts Lori A. Thibeault, Director of Design and Marketing at New England Recreation, Into VIP Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) July 18, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Lori Thibeault as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Lori into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Self-motivated and results driven to succeed, Lori Thibeault is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.
Ms. Thibeault embarked on a career in recreation design quite by accident. “A gentleman who knew me entered the men’s store I managed and recommended me for his replacement,” she recalled. Now a Certified Playground Safety Instructor, Ms. Thibeault has been working in the industry since 2004.
In her role as Director of Design and Marketing at New England Recreation, she uses the skills she has honed in design, strategic planning, customer-relationship building, sales and marketing, to create commercial playground and recreation products that are innovative, safe and of the highest quality. Ms. Thibeault is involved with the product development process from start to finish. “I work directly with the customer on what they want,” she said. “Then I design it and present it to close the sale.”
Although the economy and a highly competitive market can be challenging, Ms. Thibeault finds her work to be gratifying. “The most rewarding aspect is watching the children play on the equipment you designed,” she said.
In addition to her full-time job, Ms. Thibeault manages a website lorithibeault.cabionline.com, where she helps to bring a fresh, new style to women. She is also a strong supporter of the company’s nonprofit foundation, Heart of Cabi, whose mission is to “encourage and empower women in need.”
