NAPW Inducts Jill Patrick, Producer / Poet / Playwright / Managing Artistic Director at Working Title Playwrights, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) December 08, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Jill Patrick as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in theater. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Jill Patrick is a dynamic, accomplished Playwright and poet based in Atlanta, GA. She is the creator of the infamous one-act play, If I Told You I Love You Would You Believe Me?, which earned her the first ever Moody Award for Playwriting. Her work has been featured in literary magazines such as New Millennium Writings, Creative License and Red Hills Review.
In 2006, Ms. Patrick took on the role of Managing Director at Working Title Playwrights (WTP). In addition to providing playwrights with the opportunity to bring their stories to the stage, the company seeks to increase the overall visibility of theater in the community. Under Ms. Patrick’s direction, WTP has emerged as the leader of new play development in the Southeast.
Ms. Patrick received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts from Clayton State University. She is on the Advisory Board of Atlanta’s Essential Theatre and a member of Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas, The Dramatists Guild of America and the Association of Writers and Writing Programs.
