National Association of Professional Women Announces Caroline Conley, Psychotherapist and Owner at Caroline Conley, LCSW, PLLC, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- NAPW honors Caroline Conley at Caroline Conley, LCSW, PLLC, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Conley is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in psychotherapy. “I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides psychotherapy to individuals (children, adolescents and adults), couples and families,” says Ms. Conley. “My experience ranges from working within a dual diagnosis clinic treating patients with co-occurring mental health issues and substance abuse, to working in hospital settings with adults, adolescents and children and also providing family therapy.”
Ms. Conley has a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Boston College. Before establishing her own private practice in 2010, Ms. Conley held various positions in hospitals and medical centers in the northeast including Cornell Weill Medical Center and Columbia Presbyterian hospital in New York City. She offers clients a plethora of services that focus on a variety of mental health issues affecting children and adults.
Knowing the importance of treating each patient according to their specific needs, Ms. Conley tailors her approach while also incorporating her vast knowledge of industry models such as Family Systems Theory and a Psychodynamic framework. “I work to understand, empathize and to help the client hold emotional insight into their personal issues,” she says. “I work with the client to get them to a goal which brings on satisfaction and fulfillment.”
