National Association of Professional Women Inducts Jodi Rush, Manager of BNSF Railway, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) January 26, 2016 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Jodi L. Rush as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. “I have been in the railway industry for over 19 years,” said Jodi Rush, whose current title is Manager Yardmaster Workforce Management - Labor Relations at BNSF Railway. She manages the 24 / 7 call desks for BNSF Yardmasters and BN Blue Book Clerical workforce across the system in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Ms. Rush learned the ropes at BNSF Railway in the various positions she held at BNSF including Locomotive Engineer, Conductor, Switchman, Brakeman and Hostler. Her career with BNSF continued as she climbed the ladder of success in positions including Manager TYE Field Training, Trainmaster, Manager Transportation Systems, Supervisor Yard Standards and Assistant Manager Labor Relations.
When she became Manager Corporate Support-Labor relations in 2008, a position she held for more than five years, Ms. Rush was in charge of Managing the main mailroom for the BNSF Headquarters (Campus). She was eventually promoted to Manager Yardmaster Workforce Management - Labor Relations.
