NAPW honors Joyce C. Anderson, Licensed REALTOR® at Coldwell Banker Professional, REALTORS®, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in real estate. As the largest networking organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and more than 300 local chapters.
“After a 30-year career in accounting and finance, I decided to make a career change,” said Ms. Anderson. She had spent 17 of those years working in property management, so her decision to leave accounting for real estate was a natural progression. At Coldwell Banker Professional, REALTORS®, Ms. Anderson would be able to work independently at her business while being affiliated with a premier real estate organization.
As a successful licensed real estate professional, Ms. Anderson specializes in residential real estate and has in her finance career worked in treasury management, asset management, property management, A/P, A/R and General Ledger. She has managed million-dollar lines of credit and has supervised and mentored accounting departments of up to 20 team members.
Ms. Anderson is reaping the benefits of being an independent REALTOR®. By combining her exceptional marketing skills, real estate expertise, and a passion for helping clients buy and sell their homes, she’s discovered a new found passion for her career. Ms. Anderson considers taking the unsure but challenging step to a new career path one of her most rewarding accomplishments.
