Jennifer Amend has always been passionate about food and she has turned that passion into her career. A Restaurant Entrepreneur, Ms. Amend’s latest affiliation is with Artichoke and Olives, a fine dining establishment in Nebraska.
In her role at the restaurant, Ms. Amend expertly manages staff, oversees menu design and, perhaps most importantly, ensures that patrons have a delicious and enjoyable meal. In addition to her extensive real-world experience in the restaurant industry, Ms. Amend has completed the Food Science Course at Penn State University, a well-respected program in the field that offers “hands-on science dealing with real-world applications; small, friendly atmosphere; world-class internship experiences; excellent scholarship opportunities and 100% job placement.”
Ms. Amend is also a Certified Public / Private Mediator and a Certified Pilates / Yoga Instructor. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
