NAPW Inducts Sharmila Abraham, Litigation, Compliance and New Construction Specialist at Lal Restaurant Group, Inc., Into Its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

Ms. Abraham’s professional title is Litigation, Compliance and New Construction Specialist at Lal Restaurant Group, Inc. She offers support in all aspects within the company that concern their policies and practices with electronic discovery, document review and production. She frequently collaborates with outside councils, vendors and consultants to support litigation matters; assesses violations issued to individual stores (franchise owned / operated) and addresses them through an Attorney to issuance of payment of fines. She also interacts with Insurance Claim Adjusters regarding incidents at various locations, coordinate and gather information pertaining to the site.
Aside from her career, Ms. Abraham is passionate about charitable organizations such as March of Dimes and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She received her Associate’s degree from Monroe College in Hospitality Management. “I am a survivor of domestic violence and I help fellow domestic violence survivors. I am raising two children to be happy, healthy and productive members of society,” she said. “I am also an advocate for those less fortunate including children of domestic violence, asthma research and the development of food allergy cures.” Ms. Abraham is also a church member of New Haven Ministries. She hopes to open different types of businesses that contribute to society and assist other people in need. Helping others has always been a passion and driving force in her elevation as a professional woman.
