National Association of Professional Women Announces Esmeralda G. Bryan, Retired Military Non-Commissioned Officer, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 30, 2014 -- NAPW honors Esmeralda G. Bryan, Retired Military Non-Commissioned Officer as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Bryan is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in education. As the largest, most-recognized organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and more than 300 Local Chapters.
“Upon my retirement from the military I immediately formalized an educational plan of action,” says Ms. Bryan, who held an impressive list of titles in various commands. After taking full advantage of her veteran's educational benefits, Ms. Bryan earned an Associate of Arts degree in Spanish, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organization Communications and has a projected date of graduation in August 2014 for her Master's degree in College Student Development.
Ms. Bryan has attended college full time in order to achieve her goal of helping underrepresented groups develop their college readiness skills. She has developed an exceptional understanding of the internal workings of education while in the Master’s program, which includs the benefits and best practices on spirituality, critical thinking skills, lesson planning and the dynamic interrelationships in the campus culture.
Her future plan for a career in education, says Ms. Bryan, was inspired by the many great leaders and mentors she met along the way while in the military. They helped to reinforce her desire to share knowledge with others through constant encouragement, guidance and love.
