National Association of Professional Women Announces Catherine Pagano, Risk Management Specialist for Marshall and Sterling, Inc., a Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- NAPW honors Catherine Pagano as a 2014-2015 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Pagano is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in risk management. “I got started in the industry eight-and-a-half years ago simply by luck,” says Ms. Pagano. “Since that time, I have developed my skills and knowledge in the field to advance to my current position as the Risk Management Specialist for Marshall and Sterling, Inc.”
In her role, Ms. Pagano is responsible for the introduction, oversight and coordination of all Marshall & Sterling safety certification components, as well as the management of loss control services offered to current and prospective clients. In addition to ensuring programs are completed in a timely manner, Ms. Pagano also conducts work-related accident investigations, accident analysis and safety training. “I'll work with our clients to handle reviews of their work sites and procedures to ensure conformity with OSHA requirements to minimize the risk of workplace injury,” she says.
Ms. Pagano is skilled at developing and nurturing relationships and she excels at effectively communicating her extensive knowledge of OSHA and all safety standards, and training others in those standards. Ms. Pagano has advanced certifications in safety and is committed to continuing to educate herself and expand her industry knowledge even further. “I am dedicated to providing the best service possible as I truly believe safety and awareness are cornerstones to operations at any company or organization,” says Ms Pagano. She is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
