National Association of Professional Women Inducts Anna-Maria Williams, B.S., Safety Director / Driver Liaison at Janaleasing, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) December 15, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Anna-Maria Williams as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in safety and transportation. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Anna-Maria Williams touts an impressive career in the transportation, security and law enforcement industries. She started in the Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County Police Department in 1986 as a Patrol Officer. She worked her way up to Homicide Investigator and then to Sergeant.
By 2011, Ms. Williams worked as Director of Operations for Associative Protective Service, Inc., while remaining a member of the police force until 2014. She planned logistics for largeand small-scale events, established emergency contingency plans, scheduled off-duty police officers and security guards and obtained city permits.
At her current position as Safety Director / Driver Liaison at Janaleasing, Ms. Williams coordinates transportation for artists, bands and other professionals. “One of my duties is to ensure our coaches and crew are compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration standards,” she said. “We offer short- and long-term leases to meet our clients’ needs. I also work with the coachmen to make sure they have the tools and information they need to care for our clients.”
When not working, Ms. Williams volunteers for Special Olympics Tennessee. “One of my most memorable events occurred the year I dressed as Xena the Warrior Princess to do the Polar Bear Plunge into Percy Priest Lake,” she said. “I raised $5,000 for my craziness.”
