National Association of Professional Women Inducts Cheryl Goff, Guidance Counselor at Wooster City School District, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. Self-motivated and results driven to succeed, Cheryl Goff is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.
Ms. Goff is a Guidance Counselor at Wooster High School. Located in Wooster, OH, the school is a comprehensive high school serving students in grades 8-12. There are about 1,415 students enrolled in the school.
As a counselor to students in the 9th grade, Ms. Goff works tirelessly to advise, inspire and motivate her students, providing academic and educational guidance to each one. In addition to helping her students reach their academic goals, Ms. Goff also assists them with their social, personal and career development.
Ms. Goff has an M.S. from Malone University. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Walden University, she is working on defining the topic of her dissertation. Active in her community, Ms. Goff is very involved with her local NAACP and is currently the 3rd Vice President (she was formerly a 1st Vice President). She is also working with others from a local college to form a group for young minority women to help them find their purpose and empower them to reach their full potential.
