National Association of Professional Women Inducts Gloria Betancourt, Receptionist at Consulate Health Care, into its 2015-2016 VIP Woman of the Year Circle

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Gloria M. Betancourt as a 2015-2016 inductee into the NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

"I'm pleased to present Gloria with this important honor," said NAPW President Star Jones. "Her knowledge and experience in senior healthcare are valuable assets to her clients and community."

After a long and successful career in banking, Gloria Betancourt retired to Florida’s historic Osceola County. For the past 13 years, she has become a welcome addition to Consulate Health Care, one of the nation's leading providers of senior healthcare services. Specializing in post-acute care, Consulate Health Care offers services ranging from short-term transitional care to Alzheimer’s and dementia care.

It is Ms. Betancourt’s impressive background as an Executive Assistant for a New York banking board chairman, that has proven to be an enormous asset in her current multitasking role. Besides meeting and greeting visitors, answering phones and conducting intake for new members, Ms. Betancourt interacts with human resources, nursing home directors, admission personnel, social services and doctors and nurses.

As an active and productive retiree, Ms. Betancourt is currently involved with the Meadowoods 7 Community where she serves as its President. “ I love being a mentor to young people, helping to guide them along the way,” says Ms. Betancourt, who is also passionate about charitable organizations such as the Disabled Association of Veterans.
