Alexandra Meiners selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) inducts Alexandra Meiners into VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 750,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

“I'm pleased to recognize Alexandra with this important honor,” says NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”

Alexandra Meiners is Operator, President and Business Manager of the Alaska Rendezvous Guides, Inc., and the Alaska Rendezvous Lodge, Inc. Her father Theo Meiners, a legendary mountaineer in Alaska, the Tetons in Wyoming and the Maroon Bells in Colorado, started the Alaska Rendezvous Guides in 2001. He passed away unexpectedly in the fall of 2012 and Ms. Meiners has been operating the businesses since then.

Ms. Meiners' skills and areas of expertise include time management, people management (both employees and guests), marketing, and CEO and COO duties. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Print Journalism from Idaho State University.
