National Association of Professional Women Inducts Cathy Manning, Owner of Cottonwood Hot Springs Inn & Spa, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 06, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Cathy Manning as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I'm pleased to recognize Cathy with this important honor,” says NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
“I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 57 years,” said Cathy Manning, Owner of Cottonwood Hot Springs Inn & Spa. Her choice of career was born out of a desire to provide people with a respite from their hectic lives so that they could connect, share, grow and learn.
Currently, Cottonwood’s guests enjoy soaking in Colorado's purest, geothermal, gravity-fed mineral spas for their medicinal and therapeutic value. Used for centuries by the Ute Indians as a spiritual gathering retreat, people still come from all over the country to soak in the curative waters. Other services include lodging, spa services, spa products, reiki sessions and Cathy’s Closet, a unique gift shop that carries a plethora of natural herbs, jewelry and health products.
Because of her interest in sustainability and an eco-friendly lifestyle, Ms. Manning recently acquired Cedar Glade Resort in Horseshoe Bend Arkansas. She has plans to partner with other like-minded people to create a wellness center and a eco-village, with solar heated hot springs, pool, spa and a farm-to-table restaurant. The property is already platted for 18 residential sites and 300 RV sites.
