National Association of Professional Women Inducts Karen Archer, Account Executive at Computer Sciences Corp., into its 2015-2016 VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) May 12, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Karen Archer as a 2015-2016 inductee into the NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in computer sciences. With more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters, NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women.
“I’m pleased to welcome Karen Archer into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “She has used her expertise to build a successful business enterprise.”
“The most rewarding aspect of my career is being able to learn each and every day and help others grow in their career aspirations,” says Ms. Archer, who decided her career path at an early age. “Back when I was 15 years old, my parents owned a car dealership. They had someone come around from Texas Instruments to set up an automated system in the shop. My parents said, ‘If you can teach her the system, we’ll buy it.’ That set my career as an IT professional in motion,” she says.
Ms. Archer's knack for mastering IT systems would eventually make her a perfect fit for Computer Sciences Corporation, where she has been a successful account executive for 15 years. With expertise in P&L, strategic planning and innovation introduction, she has amassed a solid client base and continues to develop long-lasting relationships with each valued customer. A born leader, Ms. Archer seamlessly leads a team of more than 500 people across the US, offering high-quality business to technology sales companies and business transformation sales to existing clients.
Ms. Archer looks forward to becoming better educated in cyber security, big data and cloud, and solidifying herself as a front runner in the sales arena. “My goal is to continue to build teams in a very strategic environment and to achieve technology and business growth for my company,” she says.
NAPW’s mission is to provide an exclusive networking forum to professional women where they can aspire, connect and achieve. Through innovative resources, tools and benefits, members interact, exchange ideas, advance their knowledge and empower each other.
