National Association of Professional Women Announces Sujata Bhattarai, CEO of Aureus Tech Systems, LLC, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- NAPW honors Sujata Bhattarai as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in technology. As the largest, most-recognized networking organization of professional women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and nearly 300 Local Chapters.
Sujata Bhattarai, CEO of Aureus Tech Systems, has come a long way since college where she majored in computer information systems as a way to build on her passion and interest in technology. In 2008, Ms. Bhattarai identified a need in the market place around SharePoint, when it was in its early stages and started a SharePoint consulting company. She grew Aureaus Tech at an average of 20% revenue growth over the past five years to a company whose core practices and capabilities are business intelligence reporting, mobile reporting and SharePoint.
Ms. Bhattarai’s role has evolved through the years, handling everything from project management, resource acquisition to payroll and human resource functions. Despite the fact that Aureus has grown into a company with different departments for each of these functions, Ms. Bhattarai still keeps current, managing its projects at a corporate level through weekly metrics provided to her by her expert staff. She is also directly responsible for managing the finance and resource allocation of the company. With her extensive background in computer information systems, Ms. Bhattarai is able to review and understand the technical architecture and approach that her company takes on projects, which allows her to identify technical risks associated with a project.
Aureus partnered with Jamba Juice as a software development partner. In order to develop and enhance their technology footprint, primarily in content management (SharePoint) and business intelligence (BI), their solution is used across all 800 (approx.) stores nationwide in addition to their corporate users.
Accomplishments & Awards: M.B.A., University of Central Missouri, Business Administration
