National Association of Professional Women Inducts Angie Crockett, Managing Partner of ROC Solutions, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) July 14, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Angie Crockett as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
"I’m pleased to welcome Angie into this exceptional group of professional women," said NAPW President Star Jones. "Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community."
Ms. Crockett began her career in the accounting industry before she decided to stretch her abilities by helping people configure their accounting systems and fix issues in their enterprise resource planning (ERP). After starting at the ground level of a small company in this capacity, she quickly learned the ropes from various mentors who guided her path.
“My biggest inspiration was my friend and co-worker Rebekah Griffiths. We would work well into the night and mornings on many occasions,” said Ms. Crockett.
In the 20 years that followed, Ms. Crockett became an accomplished expert in Microsoft Dynamics, including implementations, data analysis and customizations, with emphasis on technical review, data integrity and customizing ERP to easily integrate with third-party systems. She is well-versed in all modules and various report writing and BI tools; Qlikview reporting; Appian BPM software; and Acumatica implementation and customizations to integrate custom solutions into inventory modules.
In October 2013, Ms. Crockett took on the role of Managing Partner at ROC Solutions, a company offering ERP consulting and implementations. There, she manages various departments for integrated solutions and problem resolution alongside two other partners.
“I presently maintain hats for several roles, including CFO, part-time CEO, consultant and salesperson. I work with our customers to help them get the most out of the system they are using, mentor new employees, do report writing and customization's,” said. Ms. Crockett. Ms. Crockett’s future plans include expanding the company’s workforce to approximately 50 employees and training them with a work ethic that embodies the company’s core values: maintaining a good work-life balance while still satisfying the needs of their valued customers.
