National Association of Professional Women Announces Sharon Nowak, Product Management, a 2015 Professional Woman of the Year

“I started in the customer service area of a local telecommunications company and immediately fell in love with the industry,” said Mrs. Nowak, who is a 26-year veteran of the eighth-largest cable provider in the US.
During her employ, she was responsible for providing approximately three million customers access to video services across multiple platforms and devices. She sponsored the development and operational management of key video products and created and implemented detailed requirements and specifications for customer-facing and operations projects. Mrs. Nowak developed a reputation as an expert in product management, implementation, process improvement and customer experience. While at Cablevision, her accomplishments were many, including process changes that contributed to a reduction in call volume and truck rolls. She also enhanced workflow effectiveness, positively impacting the overall customer experience.
Mrs. Nowak is constantly developing and increasing her technological capabilities for the marketplace, including launching new applications, enhancing remote controls and overseeing the initiation of multiple outage communication projects to increase customer satisfaction survey results. She is looking forward to continuing to play an important role in the world of technology.
