NAPW honors Teresa Vignau, as a 2015 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Vignau is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in theatre arts. As the largest, most-recognized organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a vibrant networking community with nearly 700,000 members and over 200 Local Chapters.
Teresa Vignau, Artistic Director at the Roberts Theatre, previously known as the Little Theatre at Saint Andrew's School in Boca Raton, FL, holds the distinction of being its first graduate. Ms. Vignau has held the title of the theatre’s Artistic Director for more than 45 years, producing and directing a host of memorable productions. Her expertise includes acting, directing, choreography, set design lighting, costume design makeup and set building. Her body of work distinguishes Ms. Vignau as the director par excellence for Shakespeare productions, musical theatre, ballet, jazz, modern dance, drama and children’s theatre.
Presently, along with occasional productions for the Roberts Theatre, Ms. Vignau is focusing on her numerous public speaking engagements and is in negotiations for designing a banquet hall for the National Society of Arts and Letters. Ms. Vignau received her Master's degree in Theatre Production from Oregon Southern University. She is currently involved with International Thespians.
