National Association of Professional Women Inducts Marilee Taylor, Former Manager at Tobacco Superstore, into its 2015-2016 VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) May 12, 2015 -- NAPW honors Marilee E. Taylor as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. As the former Manager at Tobacco Superstore, Ms. Taylor, whose skills and areas of expertise include management, leadership, sales and client relations, supervised the day-today operations of the retail establishment. Among her many responsibilities was overseeing a team of seven employees, managing schedules, payroll and other aspects of HR. In addition, Ms. Taylor conducted new product training, and managed sales and inventories. An effective communicator, she maintained excellent working relationships by regularly interacting with store vendors and customers.
Ms. Taylor has also executed a number of highly successful marketing plans and brand strategies throughout her retail career. Despite her success in the field, Ms.Taylor has decided to change paths and pursue a job in the healthcare field. Currently, she is working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Hospital Management at Heritage College.
“My future goal is to eventually work in Hospice where I can help individuals and their families in their time of need,” says Ms. Taylor.
