National Association of Professional Women Inducts Tiffany Williams Heer, Owner of Bayside Resort, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) October 13, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Tiffany Williams Heer as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“It gives me great pleasure to present Tiffany with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “I applaud her for using her expertise to build a successful business enterprise.”
Tiffany Williams Heer didn’t plan on owning her own resort, but as she admits, “life has a funny way of bringing a person into a reality they didn’t know they were seeking.” After obtaining her Associate’s degree, she made the decision to start a waffle cone business and operated it successfully for 15 years. The fearless entrepreneur then moved on to the construction industry, this time finding success in the traditionally male-dominated field.
Ms. Heer’s next job was one of her most important, that of a stay-at-home mother. It was while cooking nutritious, homemade meals for her sons that she discovered her passion and talent for cooking. “I prepared every meal from scratch for my boys and in the sweetest, oddest twist found my food critics are my children,” she says. “They continue to be my best critics.”
Today, Ms. Heer provides that same delicious, home-cooked food at her business, Bayside Resort, a year-round resort located 15 miles west of Linton, ND. In addition to her outstanding contributions to the restaurant, Ms. Heer expertly manages the business’s marketing operations and handles all aspects of customer service.
NAPW’s mission is to provide an exclusive, highly advanced networking forum to successful women executives, professionals and entrepreneurs where they can aspire, connect and achieve. Through innovative resources, unique tools and progressive benefits, professional women interact, exchange ideas, advance their knowledge and empower each other.
