With more than three decades of experience in the travel and tourism industry, Ms. Roh is now embarking on a new stage in her career, Owner of Luminary Consultants. Working as a Business Consultant, Ms. Roh will take her expansive skill set and industry knowledge when it comes to sales and customer service training, call center management, project management, and travel and tourism, to advise clients on how to best manage their businesses.
Ms. Roh got her start in the hospitality industry during her college years. “I was going to the University of New Mexico, studying Economics,” she recalls. “I was a waitress at a coffee shop at the airport.” Through her customers, Ms. Roh became intrigued with the business world of travel and quickly joined Continental Airlines, where she was part of the call center leadership team. She continued to hone her skills in call center training, coaching, sales leadership and customer service. Ms. Roh's most recent position was Senior Training and Performance Improvement Manager at Orbitz Worldwide, a leader in online travel services.
As she embarks on her latest venture, promoting local tourism, Ms. Roh will continue to use that expertise in her role as a Business Consultant. Her passion for travel and tourism has never waned and given the potential for travel business opportunities in New Mexico, Ms. Roh is excited about the potential for Luminary Consulting.
