National Association of Professional Women Inducts Deanna White, CEO, Formerly, Flexjet, LLC, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. Deanna White is justifiably proud of all her professional achievements. She is highly experienced in both telecommunications and aviation industries. She started as an intern in college at GTE, which merged with Bell Atlantic to create Verizon. Ms. White recommends internships to all young girls and women aspiring to be successful businesswomen in order to gain experience in their field of choice. Her many accomplishments and vast experiences led her to become the CEO of Flexjet, LLC.
As CEO, Ms. White was responsible for delivering strategic plans for the company by creating a high-performance team, effectively communicating the goals and mission to all employees, and monitoring the performance against their goals.
An exceptional leader, Ms. White developed key strategies that fit the organization’s current challenges and business environment and effectively communicated with all employees. Understanding the importance of business analytics and how to run a company, she is willing to take risks, learn from the mistakes and move past things to improve the business. “The most rewarding thing for me is to coach and inspire people to achieve the company’s goals and mission together as a team,” she said.
Currently a Professor in the M.B.A Program at the University of Dallas, Ms. White continues giving back through adjunct teaching in graduate programs. She would also like to contribute her leadership abilities and skills to another organization through an executive or board position in the near future.
