She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to recognize Stella with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed, Stella Teresa Holt is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence.
Ms. Holt was born to Sammie and Mildred Atlas in Grandview, TX. She spent much of her childhood on the farm showing cattle and learning how to cook and make clothes. She also volunteered for the nonprofit organization 4-H.
Ms. Holt attended Hill Junior College for two years, where she studied general education and agriculture. She married Gary Don Holt on November 20, 1976 in Alvarado, TX, and soon after, became the Owner of Holt Ranch, a 142-year-old, family owned ranch specializing primarily in oats, wheat and hay.
Since taking on her role, Ms. Holt has developed a breadth of expertise in all areas of farming, operations and management. Following her husband’s passing in 2014, Ms. Holt took full ownership of the ranch, which until this day, continues to thrive and produce the same high standards of quality that has set the ranch apart for generations.
“I’m very proud to keep the Holt Ranch alive and pass it down to the next generation,” said Ms. Holt. “I just love farming and ranching; they’re all I know.”
Aside from living the country life, Ms. Holt is never more satisfied than when she is surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.
NAPW’s mission is to provide an exclusive, highly advanced networking forum to successful women executives, professionals and entrepreneurs where they can aspire, connect and achieve. Through innovative resources, unique tools and progressive benefits, professional women interact, exchange ideas, advance their knowledge and empower each other.
