National Association of Professional Women Inducts Patricia Sparrell, Principal, PTSparrell Consulting, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) October 20, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Patricia Sparrell as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in engineering. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 775,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Patricia Sparrell brings over 30 years of highly diversified experience to her current role as Principal at PTSparrell Consulting. Prior to this, she had excelled in various leadership roles at Mobil Corporation, ExxonMobil Biomedical Sciences, Inc., and ExxonMobil.
Most recently, Ms. Sparrell served in multiple management positions within ExxonMobil Research and Engineering. There, she contributed significantly to the management of global technology development, manufacturing support and capital project management, and also successfully implemented a women’s mentoring and empowerment program.
Ms. Sparrell received her Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from Russell Sage College. She keeps pace with the exciting changes that accompany the evolution of her profession through her active membership with the Society of Women Engineers.
Ms. Sparrell serves on the Board of Trustees for The Sage Colleges as well as on the Board of Achievement Recognition of College Scientists (ARCS) – Washington Metro. She is a member of the Advisory Board – Chemical Engineering Dept. at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an Advisory Board Member of the Biological and Chemical Engineering Dept. at Northwestern University. Her current focus is to continue recruiting and training women in the STEM field.
