National Association of Professional Women Inducts Mary Ann Judith, Owner / President, First Class Plumbing, LLC, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 16, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Mary Ann Judith as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in plumbing. With more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters, NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women.
“It gives me great pleasure to honor Mary Ann for the important work she is doing for the population,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Together with her family, she has created a valuable business enterprise for her community.”
Starting in 2004 with only one truck in Falls Church, VA, Mary Ann Judith was determined to follow in her father’s footsteps and build a successful plumbing business for herself and her family. Providing quality work at a reasonable price, First Class Plumbing rapidly grew to 35 employees and trucks. She is justifiably proud of her growing business, as she has many accounts with various property management companies and churches throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan area, and enjoys working with her family.
Ms. Judith has expanded the company from plumbing and gas to HVAC, water jetting, drain cleaning, TV camera and line locator work, waste management, sewage ejector pits, storm water management, pipe freezing and more. First Class Plumbing was named one of the “Top 100 WBE / MBE Businesses” in Maryland, DC, and Virginia in 2013. The company has also received an award from the Mayor.
This family owned business will continue to grow and Ms. Judith’s goal is to build it enough for her daughters to have a successful business for themselves in the future. Currently her daughter, Gina, is the Director of Operations / Human Resources. She is an integral part of the company. Ms. Judith has also been involved with Charity Works in McLean, VA, who has built Fisher Houses, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Rolling Thunder and activities for disabled Veterans.
