National Association of Professional Women Inducts Cheryl Rouland, Documentation Specialist, Engility Corporation, into Its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) February 17, 2016 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Cheryl Rouland as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members and over 200 operating local chapters.
“I’m pleased to recognize Cheryl with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
“Over the years I’ve learned more than 40 software applications,” said Cheryl Rouland, who has over 25 years of experience as a Technical Writer. In her current position as Document Specialist at Engility Corporation, she is responsible for writing test cases and online help. She’s also written knowledge-based articles, gap analyses, standard operating procedures, test cases, manufacturing procedures and training materials. As an established writer, she is known for developing solid project plans and bringing them to completion on time.
Ms. Rouland’s ability to listen, pay attention to details and understand how the products are used by end users has made her a key ingredient to the success of every project she has had the privilege of working on. She thrives in a team environment that is interested in making a better “mouse trap.” She likes to apply what she’s studied in school (economics, political science and public policy) and what she’s used on the job (project planning, documenting systems / issued) and then proposing solutions for an organization.
Recently, Ms. Rouland has engaged in politics by supporting candidates for local, regional, state and national office. She wants to use her news writing, technical writing and policy writing skills to effect policy changes that help others.
