National Association of Professional Women Announces Janet D. Donlin, D.V.M., CAE and CEO at AVMA PLIT, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Dr. Donlin is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Janet Donlin, D.V.M. CAE is a long-time champion of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and its affiliated Professional Liability Insurance Trust (PLIT). The AVMA PLIT is a key member benefit program through which veterinarians can obtain professional liability insurance and other business insurance coverages designed specifically for veterinarians. Dr. Donlin has a proven background of diverse, value added AVMA experience and a reputation for working with leaders from all segments of the veterinary profession.
Dr. Donlin brings more than 30 years of experience in the veterinary field of medicine. She held many impressive titles during her 16-year tenor with the American Veterinary Medical Association, some of which included Assistant Director, Scientific Activities, Assistant Executive Vice President and Interim CEO for the National Commission on Veterinary Economic Issues (NCVEI). Prior to her CEO position at AVMA PLIT, Dr. Donlin was the Chief Veterinary Officer, Global Veterinary Business Channel, at Hills's Pet Nutrition, Inc.
