National Association of Professional Women Announces Felica Newsome-Dent, M.B.A., Program Analyst at CALIBRE Systems, a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) December 22, 2014 -- NAPW honors Felica Newsome-Dent, M.B.A., as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Newsome-Dent is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. Felica Newsome-Dent is a retired Army Veteran with 21 years of experience in human resources and is an expert in all aspects of the field. She is presently working at CALIBRE Systems as a Program Analyst. In her role, Ms. Newsome-Dent trains benefit advisors under the Veterans Opportunity to Work (VOW) and Veteran Employment Initiative (VEI), providing former service men and women with the necessary tools and resources to facilitate their progression from military to civilian life.
Prior to her position at CALIBRE Systems, Ms. Newsome-Dent was also a Benefits Briefer while serving at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, in Washington State. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from University of Phoenix. Ms. Newsome-Dent completed Lean Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Villanova University. She is a member of the American Criminal Justice Association.
