Lynn Martindale's dream of majoring in French changed after her high school graduation when her father, an air force veteran, received orders to move himself and his family from their comfortable and familiar home in California to the exotic state of Hawaii. It would take the inspiring influence of a beloved music teacher to bring Ms. Martindale back to California and on to a successful singing career.
For more than a decade, Ms. Martindales’s voice won her great national acclaim at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles and numerous appearances in Zurich, Germany and Switzerland. She went on to teach in many prestigious institutions including the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, the Manhattan School of Music, Tisch School of the Arts and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Currently, Ms. Martindale travels regularly from her home and business in Fort Meyers, Florida to New York City to serve on a panel of experts for Career Bridges, which provides grants, career guidance and performance opportunities for aspiring performers.
