Garden City, NY (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- NAPW honors Kathy Pang as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Pang is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. As the largest, most-recognized organization of women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and nearly 300 Local Chapters.
“I believe my main skills are effective communication and relationship building,” says Ms. Pang, CEO of PangTong Wellhead USA, Inc. “To be in my position, good communication skills are extremely important to maintain good relationships with partners, vendors and customers.”
PangTong Group was established in Shanghai ten years ago by Ms. Pang’s brother. Inspired by his entrepreneurship, she decided to "...follow in my brother's footsteps and expand the company’s wellhead business to the U.S.” Since opening the Houston office, Ms. Pang has been instrumental in the steady growth over a few short years of Pang Tong Wellhead, establishing it as a leading provider of wellhead equipment and equipment services to petroleum industry leaders worldwide.
From interacting with clients to nurturing relationships to developing new business, Ms. Pang oversees all operations at the Houston office. She has her hand in many of the day-to-day details it takes to successfully run a young company including marketing, quality control, HR and customer relations. She admits it is challenging but finds the rewards far outweigh any difficulties she has faced. “It is so gratifying to see my company and my employees grow every day, and having good relationships with partners that I know will last,” says Ms. Pang. “My future goal is to continue to expand PangTong Wellhead and make it a very stable and successful company that has an excellent reputation within the industry.”
