Born into a family that often moved around, each neighborhood became the backdrop for new adventures that tended toward the dark side. Writing became a therapy of sorts that lasted throughout her life. Ms. Zeiter eventually put herself through college. She graduated at the top of her class with an Associate degree from Platt College, where she excelled in graphic design, creative writing and English literature.
