During the evening, the group of professional women had the opportunity to showcase their businesses and learn more about each other’s professional endeavors.
Members and guests also made exciting future plans for the Chapter, including finalizing details for next month’s “Walk & Talk” meeting to be held outdoors on the Vestal Rail Trail.
NAPW Binghamton Local Chapter President Domonica Creeley kicked off the meeting with a warm welcome to all of the attendees. She invited the group of professional women to introduce themselves.
“Everyone took a turn and talked about why they joined NAPW and what they were hoping to gain from this experience,” said President Creeley.
“Networking with other like-minded professional women was the top reason for attending Chapter meetings.”
The Chapter President led a discussion about open Chapter business, including holding an outdoor or family event in the future, as well as ideas and suggestions for speakers, themes and venues for upcoming meetings.
“It was decided that we would host a ‘Women in Motion’ meeting next month at Vestal Rail trail,” said Chapter President Domonica Creeley.

The Binghamton Local Chapter’s first outdoor meeting will be on August 21st at 6:00pm at the Vestal Rail trail; a well-kept walking/running paved path that has plenty of areas to stop and rest along the way.
Members and guests were advised to dress accordingly and bring plenty of business cards to share.
“As we are walking and enjoying the fresh air, we will also discuss open business, upcoming meeting venues, guest speakers, and future chapter activities,” said the Chapter President.
