Ms. Merrill has attained the highest level of membership to the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as a VIP Woman of the Year and has been recognized for outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.
Ms. Merrill began her career at Dart Container right out of high school and she has been steadily climbing the corporate ladder for nearly 30 years. Dart Container is a manufacturer of a broad range of quality, single-use products for the food service, retail and food packaging industries, and the world’s largest manufacturer of recyclable polystyrene products.

She eventually took on the role of computer operator and over the years, honed her skills in the field of computer technology. Her hard work, professionalism and dedication have paid off. Ms. Merrill was recently promoted to operations supervisor of midrange systems, where she trouble shoots, supports and interacts with Dart’s end users when it comes to their computer systems, applications and passwords.
Some of the most challenging aspects of her role is being able to multitask, manage her time and prioritize, said Ms. Merrill who manages a team of nearly ten employees.
