National Association of Professional Women Announces Debra Livelli, Author, Owner, Dal Publishing, VIP Woman of the Year
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) September 10, 2013 -- Debra Livelli is the author of Keeping It Together Resource Guide and owner of Dal Publishing. Ms. Livelli has attained the highest level of membership to the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as a VIP Woman of the Year and has been recognized for outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.
Ms. Livelli’s passion for real estate and decorating are what inspired her to write her book. “I have always loved real estate and beginning with the first home I bought, I was hooked on fixing it up and that meant a lot of reading, experimenting and taking classes,” she said.
In her quest to stay organized and keep important information such as room dimensions, paint colors and fabric swatches and paperwork, including receipts and purchase orders, in one spot, Ms. Livelli created Keeping It Together Resource Guide (K.I.T.). K.I.T. not only helps to keep a person organized as he or she goes through the decorating and/or home renovating process, it also includes step-by-step guides and informative tips for decorating every room in a home. “I basically wrote the kind of book I wish I had when I bought my first house,” said Ms. Livelli.
As the owner of Dal Publishing and through her keen ability to multitask, Ms. Livelli learned the concepts of publishing, marketing and sales. Not only has she published K.I.T., but she has created a publishing company, as well, that enables her “to help people leave a lasting impression for others in book form.”
Ms. Livelli recently surprised an 89-year-old woman by putting down on paper the nearly 30 stories she had told to her children and grandchildren over the years and turned it into a book. “This is a woman who came over to America from Greece when she was 13 years old. Having the ability to provide such services is the ultimate!” she said.
The National Association of Professional Women is a dynamic business network where nearly 500,000 accomplished, professional women come together to interact, exchange ideas and empower themselves. Through the extensive network of close to 400 NAPW Local Chapters nationwide, like-minded members make use of online networking, educational tools and many other valuable privileges of NAPW membership.
