National Association of Professional Women Announces Joan Weems, Owner and Administrator for Victory Home Health and Hospice, as VIP Woman of the Year
(PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- Joan Weems is the Owner and Administrator for Victory Home Health and Hospice. Ms. Weems has attained the highest level of membership to the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Woman of the Year and has been recognized for outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.
Ms. Weems is an expert in pain management and wound care management. She received her Associate degree in Nursing from North Central Texas College and is currently involved with the National Association for Homecare and Hospice and the Oklahoma Home Care Association. She is passionately committed to the Victory Angel Foundation that she started a few years ago as a way to provide educational scholarships to help people who are in desperate need of assistance.
Victory had its beginnings in 1996 when Ms. Weems saw the need for a locally owned home health service that could provide the high quality of care she believed patients deserved. Since that time, Victory, whose main office is located in Tishomingo, has grown in size with ten locations serving Southern Oklahoma including Ada, Ardmore, Atoka, Carnegie, Davis, Durant, Elgin Kingston and Marlow. It also has two offices in Sherman and Bonham that serve North Texas.
Ms. Weem's success is the result of providing clients with excellent service, the friendliest staff and the most innovative care possible. With faith as the cornerstone of her pursuit for personal and professional fulfillment, Ms. Weems brings a unique empathy to her role as Owner of Victory Home Health and Hospice Director where she is a trusted mentor to all.
