At each event, the group of professional women networked, supported one another, shared goals and made exciting future plans for the Chapter.
Pembroke Pines Local Chapter President Sylvia Doane-Ward kicked of the July meeting, which was held at the Bahama Breeze Island Grille Restaurant, with a warm welcome to all of the attendees.
She invited attendees to introduce themselves to the group and speak about their respective businesses.
“After introductions, the group strategically focused on discussing themes, our mission statement, guest speakers for upcoming workshops, open board and committee positions, different venues and increasing the Chapter’s membership,” said the Chapter President.
Members and guests suggested topics for future meetings and workshops that included health and wellness, life skills, financial tips, self-empowerment, dreams and partnerships.
Charities such as Embrace Saves Infants’ Lives, Touch A Heart, Challenge Air and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital were mentioned.
At the Pembroke Pines August 21st meeting, members and guests once again had the opportunity to showcase their businesses and professional endeavors.
The group focused on topics they would like to see addressed at future meetings.
